Behind the Scenes: 2006 Peace Treaty Pageant

While the Pageant was on, I hiked in from the rodeo grounds to the south side of the pageant grounds to shoot more pictures. I found a good location in some trees where I wouldn't be seen by the people watching the pageant but yet I was able to set up my camera and take several pictures.

These next 3 pictures are my favorite pictures of all time. This man had loaded some of the materials from the Pageant into a wagon and was driving the wagon out through the southwest gate towards the rodeo grounds. I caught the wagon with the Gyp Hills in the background, plus the contrast of the red soil and the green cedar trees.

The last scene of the Peace Treaty Pageant is the wagon train scene. The following pictures were shot during the indian attack on the wagon train.
